Ptah J. Williams is one of the most talented jazz and classical pianist of our time. His jazz stlye is reminisent of Charlie Bird and Thelonius Monk. Ptah's jazz sound and style is the most creative since Miles Davis revolutionized jazz. Ptah has been called the Winton Marcellous of the keyboards.
Ptah is classically trained. He was groomed for the classical music stage. At age 16 he discovered jazz and his ear, timing and improvisation for jazz began to blossom.
Ptah has a B.A. degree from Webster University, Webster, MO. He has performed solo and with other internationally renowned artist throughout Europe and the United States. Ptah has been voted five times the best jazz musician, by the readers of the St. Louis Riverfront Times.
